Exisle Academy is Hiring: Community Manager

Exisle Academy was launched in March 2020 by Exisle Publishing and EK Books during a time of unprecedented disruption in the publishing industry.

What was intended to be a one-off training course for aspiring authors from our communities as now grown into an ongoing educational project with the goal of helping aspiring authors achieve their writing and publishing ambitions.

We are now looking for a Community Manager to join our team on a remote, part-time basis. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about books, writing and publishing to form connections with authors, editors and publishers, and help fellow writers achieve their goals.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Have some professional experience managing and growing company social media pages, especially Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Have some experience with WordPress
  • Be a talented writer with a passion for "writing about writing"
  • Be "plugged in" to the news and goings on of the writing world
  • Be a self-starter, capable of finding new and creative ways to grow our community and give value to our audience
  • Have a global outlook, and be ideally based in one of our key markets: Australia, New Zealand, the Untied States, Canada, Ireland or the United Kingdom
